Submission Guidelines
Anything submitted to the New Wave Times is in no way owned by us, it’s owned by the original creator and the original creator will always be properly credited and promoted (where appropriate).
We abhor Artificial Intelligence and, to be honest, anything artificial. We want GENUINE passion, interest and excitement from true individuals. There will be no alterations made to anything shared with us, Art is Art. We are interested in music, youth, culture, arts, sex and happenings (mainly in Scotland but we can accept things from further afield), particularly if they fall under the “New-Wave”, Punk or Goth umbrella. We believe that a writer or artist has the right to draw upon any source material, however offensive or distasteful it might seem, in pursuance of his work. Still, it is to be remembered that we are leftists, LGBTQ+ positive and anti-racist, and that any purposefully shocking material will be scrutinised diligently to ensure that there is an understanding of what is being displayed. Please do remember that The New Wave Times is a self-funded endeavour. If we can afford to pay for something, we will; if not, we’re not doing financially well and do greatly appreciate the help. We will never turn our backs on commitments
For writing, depending on the piece, a word limit may be set to ensure that it can fit on the website or our Instagram. For art, a size limit may be set for similar reasons.
